About

Niki Murphy is a filmmaker & director of photography based in New York City, versed in both branded content & documentary storytelling.

Her latest projects include directing a short docu-series for Harley-Davidson's Pan America motorcycle, following three female riders on their journey into the backcountry of wild Idaho. 

While at the Manhattan-based creative agency Group SJR, she created work for a gamut of industries. Whether traveling to remote jungles in Oceania or a New York studio, she enjoys working closely with a team to create a content ranging from scripted commercials, short documentaries, fitness & life style videos. 

She studied film at the Maryland Institute College of Art, the Korea National University of Arts, and was a recipient of the Critical Language Scholarship in Gwangju, South Korea.
